Set Your Mind

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:

1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

We are meant to be synchronized with Heaven and this occurs when we bring Heaven to earth.  First thing every morning I purpose to set my mind on things above and submit to The Holy Spirit.  Afterward, I am directed of what to write that day for your benefit… and mine.  Most of the time, I do not know beforehand what I am to write but occasionally, FATHER will tell me to focus on a particular Word or subject in preparation for the next day’s writing.

I am currently on earth to help people and express FATHER’S Love and Divine Intent to all with whom I come into contact.  I have no personal agenda to promote nor do I desire to bring any focus on me.  Our Lord Jesus Christ should be the focus and we are to “replicate” Him as mature Sons and Daughters.  It is His ministry I support and no one else’s.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Timothy chapter 2:

23 Stay away from all the foolish arguments of the immature, for these disputes will only generate more conflict. 24 For a true servant of our Lord Jesus will not be argumentative but gentle toward all and skilled in helping others see the truth, having great patience toward the immature. 25 Then with meekness you’ll be able to carefully enlighten those who argue with you so they can see God’s gracious gift of repentance and be brought to the truth. 26 This will cause them to rediscover themselves and escape from the snare of Satan who caught them in his trap so that they would carry out his purposes.

Demons promote division whereas we are commissioned to bring forth unity.  Arguments, debates, and disputes all lead to division so we must discern each situation in which we find ourselves.  We are to carefully and Lovingly enlighten the immature and those who want to argue.  Being argumentative is an indication that the person is facing opposition within himself.  FATHER’S Word is intended to remove all opposition if receive with an open heart.

In the parable of the soils, Jesus conveys to us a critical point in receiving.  In Matthew chapter 13, Jesus spoke:

11 He explained, “You’ve been given the intimate experience of insight into the hidden truths and mysteries of the realm of heaven’s kingdom, but they have not. 12 For everyone who listens with an open heart will receive progressively more revelation until he has more than enough. But those who don’t listen with an open, teachable heart, even the understanding that they think they have will be taken from them. 13 That’s why I teach the people using parables, because they think they’re looking for truth, yet because their hearts are unteachable, they never discover it. Although they will listen to me, they never fully perceive the message I speak.”

The primary issue with people maturing in The Word is the state of their heart.  One must have a open and teachable heart and, willing to listen.  If their heart is not ready to receive, they will gain no understanding thus they will not change.

Jesus continued:

14 The prophecy of Isaiah describes them perfectly:

Although they listen carefully to everything I speak,

    they don’t understand a thing I say.

They look and pretend to see,

but the eyes of their hearts are closed.

15 Their minds are dull and slow to perceive,

their ears are plugged and are hard of hearing,

and they have deliberately shut their eyes to the truth.

Otherwise they would open their eyes to see,

and open their ears to hear,

and open their minds to understand.

Then they would turn to me

and let me instantly heal them.

We must not allow our minds to interfere with receiving a fresh revelation from FATHER.  As we are led by The Holy Spirit, we open ourselves up to perfect understanding because The Holy Spirit expresses the Divine Intent of FATHER.  What better teacher could one want?

You can set your mind on the things of the world or the revelation from Above.  Your focus will determine your outcome.
