Those Who Fear THE LORD

Malachi recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 3:

16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another,

And the LORD listened and heard them;

So a book of remembrance was written before Him

For those who fear the LORD

And who meditate on His name.

17 “They shall be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts,

“On the day that I make them My jewels.

And I will spare them

As a man spares his own son who serves him.”

18 Then you shall again discern

Between the righteous and the wicked,

Between one who serves God

And one who does not serve Him.

As Sons and Daughters, we are to serve Our Heavenly Father in whatever capacity which is determined by our individual callings.  We are known as “those who feared the LORD”.  What is one quality of being in this category?  We are not known as being robbers.  Those who do rob FATHER have determined to walk a different path as revealed in the following verses:

13 “Your words have been harsh against Me,”

Says the LORD,

“Yet you say,

‘What have we spoken against You?’

14 You have said,

‘It is useless to serve God;

What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance,

And that we have walked as mourners

Before the LORD of hosts?

15 So now we call the proud blessed,

For those who do wickedness are raised up;

They even tempt God and go free.’ ”

Those who are lawless, whom FATHER calls robbers, do not have the revelation of the blessing of the tithe.  FATHER emphatically states in the following passage:

8 “Will a man rob God?

Yet you have robbed Me!

But you say,

‘In what way have we robbed You?’

In tithes and offerings.

9 You are cursed with a curse,

For you have robbed Me,

Even this whole nation.

10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,

That there may be food in My house,

And try Me now in this,”

Says the LORD of hosts,

“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven

And pour out for you such blessing

That there will not be room enough to receive it.

11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,

So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,

Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”

Says the LORD of hosts;

12 And all nations will call you blessed,

For you will be a delightful land,”

Says the LORD of hosts.

FATHER has not changed one iota since this passage was written.  Yesterday I posted an article about the locusts devouring everything in their path.  This is no different than what happened in Egypt when Pharaoh’s heart was hardened against letting the children of Israel depart to the Promised Land.

If your life is being devoured in any area, you should consider the source of the problem.  You might need to “undo” past teachings which were intended to serve the self interest of the one who spoke from his or her intellect without revelation.

Tithing is all about accepting and expressing ownership.  The tithe is FATHER’S and when we act on this revelation, we release our angels to deal with the devourer on our behalf.  The result will be blessings that exceed our ability to receive them all.

When our intent and actions acknowledge FATHER’S ownership, then we are known to be Holy and acceptable in HIS sight.  The result will be: a book of remembrance was written before FATHER for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name.  As Psalm 139:16 states, we have a book written about us and within this book is our obedience to honor HIM in every way.

These recent writings about tithing are not about money, they are meant to establish the Truth about ownership.  If you withhold the tithe, you are robbing Our Heavenly Father… it is that simple.  I didn’t originate this Truth, FATHER revealed it through Malachi.

Abraham knew to tithe by revelation for the Law had not yet been given.  The tithe establishes the Truth of FATHER being the “Greater” and we are the “lesser” thus we worship HIM by honoring HIM with our firstfruits.  If the firstfruits are Holy then the rest is Holy.  This prepares us for the Day of Judgment ahead in chapter 4:

1 “For behold, the day is coming,

Burning like an oven,

And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.

And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”

Says the LORD of hosts,

“That will leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But to you who fear My name

The Sun of Righteousness shall arise

With healing in His wings;

And you shall go out

And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

3 You shall trample the wicked,

For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet

On the day that I do this,”

Says the LORD of hosts.

Let us not allow any aspect of our life to disqualify us from walking in full maturity as Sons and Daughters! As Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 6:

38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
