Setting Our Course

We must set our course based on the Truth rather than our emotions.  Our emotions are deceptive at times and we must keep our emotions under control.  They are not the Truth but are meant to add to and enrich our experience with Our Heavenly Father.

We must allow the Truth to dictate our perception and not what the world is dispensing.  We are to enjoy our perception by allowing our emotions to be added to perception.  As Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

We should not be led by our emotions for they are unreliable.  Your soul will drive you rather than lead you.  We have all seen people who are “driven” to be successful and I was among those before I had the revelation of being led by The Holy Spirit.  It was exhausting to say the least.

In Hebrews chapter 4, it is written by The Holy Spirit:

9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

When we are led by The Holy Spirit, we have ceased from our works and we will experience that light burden and easy yoke Jesus referenced.  It is refreshing to the soul to be led by THE SPIRIT thus departing from the masses who are constantly driven by soulish desires.

Who do you think is the expert in the spirit realm?  It is The Holy Spirit of course.  Then shouldn’t we purpose to submit to The Holy Spirit at all times if we want to fully function and be successful in the spirit realm?  We must set our path according to what The Holy Spirit directs.

When we do this, many will reject us and no one likes such rejection.  However, just as Jesus was rejected, we will be rejected and we must not let our emotions supersede our spirit.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Peter chapter 2:

4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,

“Behold, I lay in Zion

A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,

And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,

“The stone which the builders rejected

Has become the chief cornerstone,”

8 and

“A stone of stumbling

And a rock of offense.”

They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

When we are fully aligned with Our Lord Jesus Christ, we too will be rejected by the wicked.  We must not allow their words to affect us by stirring up our emotions.  Instead, since we are connected to the Chief Cornerstone, we will remain steadfast on our path.  Our angels are charged to watch over us and protect us from such enemies who attack us with their words and actions.

12 Live honorable lives as you mix with unbelievers, even though they accuse you of being evildoers. For they will see your beautiful works and have a reason to glorify God in the day he visits us.

To the pure, all things are pure.  Conversely, to the impure all things are impure.  The evildoers look through their own evil eyes thus they see evil.  As we go about doing good, we testify of and glorify Our Heavenly Father.  Our works will overcome and penetrate the evil and perversion of our accusers.  The anointing will always break the yoke and convict those who accuse us so let us be full of joy as we set our course on the path known as The Way.  When we do, our emotions will no longer rule us but will serve us as we walk according to The Holy Spirit.
