Exercising Our Covenant

Our Covenant with Jesus Christ means that we are now partakers in the Divine inheritance.  Our faith must be in The Covenant and we should be exercising our Covenant.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians, chapter 1:

12  Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive (partakers) the glorious inheritance (Covenant) freely given to us by living in the light.

You and I could not earn a Covenant with FATHER, only Jesus could accomplish a permanent Covenant on our behalf.  Our Covenant is as good as the strongest, greatest party which is Our Heavenly Father.  Once in Covenant, our expectation should be full benefits attached to such a Covenant.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews 3:

1  Therefore, Holy brethren, partakers of the Heavenly calling (Covenant), consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, NKJV

And as translated from the Aramaic:

1  And so, dear brothers and sisters, you are now made Holy, and each of you is invited to the feast of your Heavenly calling (Covenant). So fasten your thoughts fully onto Jesus, whom we embrace as our Apostle and King-Priest.  TPT

We are to be partakers and not just sit on the sideline being inactive.

7  This is why the Holy Spirit says, “If only you would listen to His Voice this day! 8 Don’t make Him angry by hardening your hearts, like your ancestors did during the days of their rebellion, when they were tested in the wilderness.

9 There your fathers tested Me and tried My patience even though they saw My miracles for forty years they still doubted Me!

10 This ignited My anger with that generation and I said about them, ‘They wander in their hearts just like they do with their feet, and they refuse to learn My ways.’ 11 My heart grieved over them so I decreed: ‘They will never enter into the calming rest of my Spirit!’ ”

12 So search your hearts every day, my brothers and sisters, and make sure that none of you has evil or unbelief hiding within you. For it will lead you astray, and make you unresponsive to the living God.

13 This is the time to encourage each other to never be stubborn or hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

14 For we are mingled with the Messiah, if we will continue unshaken in this confident assurance (of our Covenant with Him) from the beginning until the end.

It is critical that we continue to be vigilant in walking in our Covenant with Him.  Ignorance is not a good excuse for we have been given substantial access to the details of His Covenant of Love.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

4   As a result of this, He has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the Divine Nature (The Covenant), by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

If you have not been exercising your rights in The Covenant, now is the time!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 3:

We carry this confidence in our hearts because of our union with Christ before God.

5 Yet we don’t see ourselves as capable enough to do anything in our own strength, for our true competence flows from God’s Empowering Presence.

6 He alone makes us adequate ministers who are focused on an entirely new covenant. Our ministry is not based on the letter of the law but through the power of the Spirit. The letter of the law kills, but the Spirit pours out life.

Paul sums it up: we are not capable, but Father is.  The strength of our Covenant is base on HIM, not us… thankfully.
