The Purpose Of The Tithe

Who owns the tithe?  What is its purpose?

Are you willing to pray and receive the understanding of what Paul prayed in Ephesians chapter 1 as given to him by The Holy Spirit:

18   I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His Holy ones!

The first place FATHER established relationship with man was in the Garden.  In the Garden, FATHER placed a tree that was to be restricted from Adam and Eve.  Why?  To establish that FATHER is GOD, and they weren’t.  FATHER can handle both good and evil and still do good.  They couldn’t.  FATHER is the superior One in the relationship, and we should never forget it.  Moreover, we are to continuously be conscious of this reality.  One vital aspect of this Truth is the tithe.

Wisdom recorded in Proverbs chapter 3:

9   Glorify God with all your wealth, honoring HIM with your very best, with every increase that comes to you.  TPT

WHO owns all the wealth?  FATHER does, yet HE established provision for us before we were formed in the womb.  The tithe establishes and reaffirms our relationship with FATHER.  This is why HE is to receive the firstfruits, not the last.

Finances were earmarked for you before you were born.  Your finances yet to be received are currently in the wrong hands and it is up to you to take dominion over those finances.  The first step is to acknowledge the source of those finances by the tithe.

All the good works in Christ were predestined before the earth was formed thus there is no question of finances being set aside on your behalf.  If you don’t have enough faith to tithe on $100, how do you expect to release a $1,000 from the wrong hands?

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 19:

11  At this time Jesus was getting close to entering Jerusalem. The crowds that followed Him were convinced that God’s kingdom realm would fully manifest when Jesus established it in Jerusalem.

12 So He told them this story to change their perspective: “Once there was a wealthy prince who left his province to travel to a distant land, where he would be crowned king and then return.

13 Before he departed he summoned his ten servants together and said, ‘I am entrusting each of you with fifty thousand dollars to trade with while I am away. Invest it and put the money to work until I return.’

14 “Some of his countrymen despised the prince and sent a delegation after him to declare before the royals, ‘We refuse to let this man rule over us! He will not be our king!’

15 “Nevertheless, he was crowned king and returned to his land. Then he summoned his ten servants to see how much each one had earned and what their profits came to.

16 “The first one came forward and said, ‘Master, I took what you gave me and invested it, and it multiplied ten times.’

17 “‘Splendid! You have done well, my excellent servant. Because you have shown that you can be trusted in this small matter, I now grant you authority to rule over ten fortress cities.’

18 “The second came and said, ‘Master, what you left with me has multiplied five times.’

19 “His master said, ‘I also grant you authority in my kingdom over five fortress cities.’

20 “Another came before the king and said, ‘Master, here is the money you entrusted to me. I hid it for safekeeping.

21 You see, I live in fear of you, for everyone knows you are a strict master and impossible to please. You push us for a high return on all that you own, and you always want to gain from someone else’s efforts.’

22 “The king said, ‘You wicked servant! I will judge you using your own words. If what you said about me is true, that I am a harsh man, pushing you for a high return and wanting gain from others’ efforts,

23 why didn’t you at least put my money in the bank to earn some interest on what I entrusted to you?’

24 “The king said to his other servants, ‘Take the money he has and give it to the faithful servant who multiplied my money ten times over.’

25 “‘But master,’ the other servants objected, ‘why give it to him? He already has so much!’

26 “‘Yes,’ replied the king. ‘But to all who have been faithful, even more will be given them. And for the ones who have nothing, even the little they seem to have will be taken from them.

27 Now, bring all those rebellious enemies of mine who rejected me as their king—bring them here before me and execute them!’”

If you don’t tithe, it is because you have not sincerely asked that the “eyes of your understanding” be enlightened.  This Truth may offend some but time is short and those who have ears to hear will make the necessary changes to come into full maturity in the relationship with FATHER.  Your soul may fight you concerning the tithe but this is where you must take a stand.  Which realm do you want to walk in?

My wife and I tithe every month into Servias Ministries.  Why?  I know that it is the purest distribution channel I am aware of.  Since its inception in 2006, Servias has never paid a payroll.  This is why I am free to write the uncompromising Word given to me by The Holy Spirit.  No one controls the purse strings.  Contributions don’t make or break the organization as in most churches.

It is time to be open with you concerning money.  My wife and I don’t need contributions because FATHER has blessed us exceedingly.  The poor and the needy are the ones whom FATHER is interested in Servias supporting by the tithes and contributions.  My wife and I are willing vessels thus we look forward to helping those in need.  As we do, FATHER adds to us because HE can trust us with more, similar to the faithful stewards in the above passage.

Do you Love FATHER enough to give HIM your firstfruits which are actually HIS?

I am just the messenger!
